Domeniile Sahateni lies in the heart of Dealu Mare, Romania's most celebrated region for red wines. The estate is closely associated with Aurelia Visinescu, one of the defining figures of modern Romanian winemaking and a leading ambassador for Feteasca Neagra.

In 2002, Aurelia Visinescu achieved a landmark result for Romanian wine by winning a Grand Gold medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Since then, the estate has built a strong reputation for expressive wines shaped by both terroir and meticulous craftsmanship.

At Domeniile Sahateni, the philosophy is simple: great wine begins in the vineyard and is refined through experience, precision and passion in the cellar.
