Oprisor

Oprisor is one of the defining wine estates of Oltenia, rooted in the historic lands of Valea Drincei and the Plaiurile Drancei vineyard area. The region has a long viticultural tradition, while the modern estate brings together scale, precision and a strong sense of local identity.

The winery manages around 252 hectares of vineyards planted with both Romanian and international grape varieties. The warm continental climate and generous sunlight support structured, expressive wines, particularly reds with depth, concentration and ageing potential.

With a substantial fermentation capacity and an extensive barrel cellar, Oprisor combines modern production with carefully managed oak maturation. The result is a broad portfolio ranging from accessible wines to ambitious, character-driven cuvees that reflect the bold personality of southern Oltenia.
