Domeniul Prince Stirbey

Domeniul Prince Stirbey is rooted in the historic Dragasani vineyard, a region with more than three centuries of winemaking tradition. For generations, the Stirbey family has preserved a distinctive approach to wine, shaped by continuity, local identity and respect for the vineyard.

The present winery was designed by Prince Barbu Alexandru Stirbey at the beginning of the 20th century and was built to process grapes from a limited vineyard area. Its annual production remains deliberately restrained, preserving the estate's focus on character and precision.

Modern cellar equipment now complements the historic foundations of the winery, while traditional ageing in oak and careful handling of the grapes help preserve the individuality of each wine.
