Casa de Vinuri Cotnari was created by the second generation of the main shareholders of Cotnari SA as an ambitious project dedicated to giving Romania's native grape varieties a distinctly modern expression. Rooted in the historic Cotnari vineyard, the estate combines the remarkable viticultural heritage of the area with contemporary vineyard management and winemaking.
Across 350 hectares, Casa de Vinuri Cotnari focuses on indigenous varieties including Grasa de Cotnari, Francusa, Feteasca Alba, Tamaioasa Romaneasca, Busuioaca de Bohotin and Feteasca Neagra. The emblematic Grasa de Cotnari is explored beyond its traditional sweet style, including dry and vintage sparkling expressions, reflecting the estate's vision of presenting the historic varieties of Cotnari to a new generation of wine lovers.
