Dagon Clan Winery
Dagon Clan
Dagon Clan is a boutique winery based in Urlati, in the renowned Dealu Mare vineyard of southern Romania. Founded in 2014 by Mihnea and Mara Vasilache, the estate follows a distinctive philosophy built around traditional viticulture, minimal intervention and a strong sense of place.
Its 7.1 hectares of vineyards are planted on sandy and calcareous soils, combining native Romanian varieties such as Feteasca Neagra, Feteasca Alba and Feteasca Regala with selected international grapes.
Led by winemaker Mihai Ratulea, with international consultancy from Mark Haisma, Dagon Clan favours spontaneous fermentation and minimal filtration to create expressive, individual wines that reflect the character of Dealu Mare.
